NOW IN PROGRESS2. 2. 2026
The Climbing World Cup in Prague will be presented under the name World Climbing Series for the first time. With less than five months remaining until the event begins, multi-day passes for this year’s edition are currently on sale. The highest demand is for seats in the grandstands at the Štvanice stadium for the lead discipline. Preparations for the event are ongoing, including volunteer recruitment and work on the accompanying programme.
New World Climbing identity and merchandise
The 2026 season is also marked by the introduction of a new global identity, World Climbing, presented by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC).
This change is gradually being reflected in the visual presentation of events and official materials. In connection with the rebranding, we are also preparing new official merchandise, which is scheduled to go on sale in February.
Sale of passes continues, lead grandstands filling up quickly
MULTI-DAY PASSES for the lead and boulder disciplines remain available. Demand is particularly strong for options that include seats in the Aréna Štvanice grandstands, where the lead competition will take place.
Capacity in these sections is limited and part of the grandstand is already sold out. Fans who wish to watch the competition from the stands are advised not to postpone purchasing their passes.
Volunteer recruitment
As part of the event preparations, volunteer recruitment is ongoing for various organisational roles.
We offer compensation of CZK 500 per day, meals provided three times a day, official event apparel, and free accommodation for volunteers from outside Prague. Registration is available via an ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
Accompanying programme at Štvanice
Our aim is to create an environment that offers more than just the sporting competition and allows visitors to spend the entire day at the venue.
Thanks to its park setting and location along the Vltava River, Štvanice Island provides space for a wide range of accompanying activities. This year’s programme will again include a public climbing wall, climbing gear test centres, and a food and beverage area. Additional elements of the accompanying programme will be announced gradually through our official communication channels.

This year’s winners were France’s Mejdi Schalk and Oriane Bertone. For Adam Ondra, it was his Last Boulder Dance, but with lead climbing added to the program in 2026, he’s expected to be back on the start list – much to the delight of his supporters.
